MB&F and artist Sage Vaughn team up to create the HM2 watch for the Only Watch auction


MB&F (Maximilian Büsser & Friends) has teamed up with artist Sage Vaughn to create a one of a kind timepiece that is a unique interpretation of the MB&F’s Horological Machine No.2. The stunning HM2 timepiece will be auctioned at Only Watch, a charity auction to benefit research into Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy (DMD), held in Monaco on 24 September 2009 under the patronage of HSH Prince Albert II. The artist signed the timepiece who presents DMD as the blackened gold barbed wire trapping both the movement and the blued gold butterfly. The clipped wing of the butterfly signifies the usually unsuccessful struggle against DMD. The watch also boasts of two sapphire domes on a transparent top plate, a sapphire crystal.
