MB&F (Maximilian Büsser & Friends) has teamed up with artist Sage Vaughn to create a one of a kind timepiece that is a unique interpretation of the MB&F’s Horological Machine No.2. The stunning HM2 timepiece will be auctioned at Only Watch, a charity auction to benefit research into Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy (DMD) which will be held in Monaco on 24 September 2009 under the patronage of HSH Prince Albert II. The timepiece has been signed by the artist who presents DMD as the blackened gold barbed wire trapping both the movement and the blued gold butterfly. The clipped wing of the butterfly signifies the usually unsuccessful struggle against DMD. The watch also boasts of two sapphire domes on a transparent top plate which is also sapphire crystal.
The complicated design and the unique theme make this watch a one of a kind masterpiece. Classy yet contemporary, this timepiece is sure to attract a lot of bidders.
