Described by fashion enthusiasts as a toilet seat, a cat flap even a Turkey Twizzler, the “delicate tea rose silk” made hat earned a staggering £81,100($130,500) an online auction on eBay.

Princess Beatrice of York, 22, sold the unimpressive headgear to raise funds for Children in Crisis and Unicef. A spokeswoman for Children in Crisis went on to say, “We are absolutely delighted, it’s so exciting. Children in Crisis and Unicef are so happy that Princess Beatrice chose to benefit our two charities doing this fantastic auction.
