Royal Dog Collars for $3,000

We have heard of jewelry that has been worn by the Royals being auctioned and sold for exorbitant prices. But for the first time I have come across a news report that reads – Duke of Windsor’s Dog Collars Will Be Sold for $3,000! So if you cannot afford stuff worn by the Royals themselves that are worth millions, maybe you’d like to pamper your best friend with this dog collar and make him feel like a king. Dog collars once worn by pugs belonging to the Duke and Duchess of Windsor will be part of a lot expected to sell at auction for as much as $3,000 next month in New York at Bonhams. The five leather collars, one with a tag inscribed, “I belong to the Duke of Windsor,” are among about 100 dog collars being sold by a person whose identity is kept under wraps.
