The world’s 89th largest yacht ‘Apoise’ goes under the hammer

Another megayacht comes up for sale, but this time the world’s 89th largest yacht is to go under the hammer in an unreserved auction! Ritchie Bros. Auctioneers is all set to sell his 220-ft luxury megayacht called as the Apoise. The stunning yacht designed by Espen Oino and built in Germany by Lurssen Yachts in 2006, can have a crew of 19 members while entertaining 12-guests. The yacht can hit a maximum speed of 16 knots and maintain a cruising speed of 14 knots on a fuel capacity of 190,000 liters.

The yacht features six decks with the topmost deck boasting of the most spectacular view. The upper deck has a large Jacuzzi, sports bar, theatre and gym, while the main deck comes equipped with a formal dining area, a large owner’s cabin with its full-beam master bath and private Jacuzzi. For the guests there are five guest suites spotting king size berths and private bathrooms. The Auction is set to take place on March 30, 2010.
Bids can be placed in person, online or through a proxy bid. While bidding registrations attract no charge, a refundable deposit of $ 2,784,135 along with pre-qualification of prospective buyers needs to be done five days before the actual auction.
