World’s most expensive motorcycle, ultra-rare Porcupine to go under the hammer

It is the season for antique-lovers to rejoice! And if you are a bike lover, then be prepared to start bidding for what is expected to be the world’s most expensive motorcycle. The ‘ultra-rare’ 1954 AJS E95 “Porcupine” will be exhibited at Bonhams’ automotive auction at Quail Lodge in Carmel on August 18, and experts expect a staggering $750,000. This was one of only four made and was created as a works racer by British manufacturer AJS. Currently, the position is held by a $520,000 1915 Cyclone Board Track Racer set in 2008.
