You could now get your hands on an $1 million Picasso painting for just $111

If you wish to try your luck and do your bit for the society at the very same time, here’s your chance to take part in a charity raffle being hosted by the French charity organization Aider les Autres in partnership with the Picasso Estate. Partakers stand a chance to win a Picasso still life painting worth $ 1 million – all for a contributing fee of $111! Yes, that’s right!

Dubbed “1 Picasso for 100 Euros,” the international raffle will offer the artist’s renowned work- “Nature Morte”, currently on view at the Picasso Museum in Paris. The painting represents an oil-on-canvas depiction of a newspaper alongside a glass of absinthe and is reflective of the “Crystal” or “Synthetic” Cubism movement which works by “flattening out the image and sweeping away the last traces of allusion to three-dimensional space.”
