Luxury cosmetics label Guerlain has announced the addition of 7 stunning new additions to their Rouge G lipstick collection and of these 2 are limited edition pieces. Created to be distinctive in their design, the Rouge G lipsticks were inspired by the refined opulence of gold bars. However the traditional boxy shape has been updated by adding sensuous curves to the metallic body. The two limited edition pieces have sumptuously lacquered exteriors that look as feminine as they are modern.
The lipstick itself contains radiant ruby powder, hyaluronic acid spheres for a smooth look and wild mango butter for hydration. It promises not only a richly colored, perfectly moisturized pout, but fuller, more defined lips.
But let’s be honest, it’s the luxe cases that have stolen our hearts! Designed by jewelry designer Lorenz Baümer these oh-so-glam accessories are the perfect addition to every lady’s delicate evening clutch. Featuring a discreet mirror concealed by a magnetic clasp, this slick yet decidedly modish sheath is cool enough to rival any of the gadgets seen in spy movies. In fact, we can easily picture a smart and sexy Bond girl slipping one of these into her holster for a glittering soirée.
The shades we’re introduced to are 15 Galiane (a nude beige), 16 Gaetane (a deep brown), 77 Geraldine (a luminous pink), 78 Gladys (a vibrant fuchsia) and 48 Geneva (an orange) each of these are priced at $51 each. On the limited edition front we’re met with 864 Rose Grenat (a bright pink-red) and 866 Rose Glace (a sheer pale pink). Priced at $54 apiece, these two feature cases that match the lipstick shade.
The Rouge G range is currently available at the Guerlain Boutiques. Come April, they will be available at select locations of Saks Fifth Avenue, Neiman Marcus, Nordstrom, Bloomingdale’s, Dillards, Sepora, and at Bergdorf Goodman.
