Revolutionary drinkable sunscreen claims to offer complete sun protection for three hours with just one teaspoon

Summer is finally here! And while you’re all set for your seasonal getaway, you may have forgotten one important little detail – sunscreen! While we all love that sunkissed beachy glow that only the summer sun can give, we’re quite tired of the endless parade of suntan creams and lotions that we have to go through during our favorite season. But a US based skincare and cosmetics company called Osmosis Skincare have now formulated a miracle product – a drinkable sunscreen!

Named “Harmonized H2O” the product supposedly contains liquid molecules that vibrate on your skin to negate the effects of UVA and UVB rays. According to Osmosis Skincare that ingesting just 2 mls of Harmonized water can cancel as much as 97% of UVA and UVB rays before they even hit your skin! Supposedly, it prevents inflammation, redness and burns caused due to sun exposure.

Sounds too good to be true? Well, it might be. The company admits that their product’s claims have not yet been approved by the FDA (Federal Drugs Agency) and the British Association of Dermatologists have also rubbished their claims stating that “the idea that drinking water, which this appears to be, can provide sun protection is frankly nonsense.” On the other hand, the brand’s website is buzzing with testimonials from happy customers who have nothing but great things to say about it! We’re still on the fence about this product, but we can’t deny it’s very intriguing!

For those who want to try the drinkable sunscreen, it is available on the Harmonized Water website, retailing at $30 (£17) for a 100 ml bottle. Harmonized Water comes in two variants: “tanning” for those who want a golden glow and “non-tanning” for those who wish to be pretty and pale.
