According to speculation, the next launch from Streetwear label Supreme will be a lipstick. The news was predicted/leaked by @supreme_leaks_news and @trendmood1 on Instagram, who both posted images of a bold red lipstick in a red tube with the Supreme logo on it. There is no official confirmation of the launch so far, but the rumors have been swirling since July.
W magazine pointed out that Christian Louboutin, a brand originally known for shoes and bags, were super successful in marketing nail and lip colors in their signature red shade. Supreme is also well known for their red apparel and accessories, offering a lipstick in that trademark red wouldn’t be a stretch for the brand. At present, the beauty industry seems to be moving faster than the speed of light, with mainstream brands launching new products and collections every few months and smaller brands popping up across all price points. Supreme may simply be looking to ride this beauty wave.
