The Harmonist, the Most Ambitious Project of Lola Karimova

If you were to glance at the resume of Timur Tillyaev and Lola Karimova-Tillyaeva, you could not help but be impressed. The Uzbekistan couple is known for their philanthropic and entrepreneurial endeavors. The couple has established foundations that help Uzbekistan’s orphaned children, drawn attention to environmental issues, and worked hard to promote its culture and achievements to the global community. In The Harmonist, a luxury perfume brand, Lola Karimova Tillyaeva has created something new and exciting in a crowded, competitive market.

Inspiration Behind Lola Karimova’s ‘The Harmonist’
The Harmonist is a luxury perfume brand based on the Chinese philosophy of Feng Shui. Lola Karimova-Tillyaeva has been researching different philosophies for most of her life. It was a natural fit to combine her love of perfumes with such ancient wisdom to create an all-encompassing perfume brand.

Lola’s fragrances are inspired by and reflect Yin and Yang’s opposing forces, a finely balanced blend of natural ingredients. The earthy elements, metal, fire, earth, water, which are the fundamental building blocks of everything on earth, are the touchstone that inspires these aromas.

The philosophy of Feng Shui guided the creation of each fragrance and helped ensure that each scent became as unique as possible. You can enter your birth date on The Harmonist website, and it will suggest the right scent for you based on the Feng Shui philosophy.

11 Signature Scents
The brand has created thirteen signature scents. Created by a leading French perfumer, each one has been blended using natural ingredients worldwide. The Feng Shui ethos of harmony is reflected in each one. As such, the fragrances are profound yet balanced. You’ll make a great first impression as the perfume reaches those around you, spreading out across the room. You will be memorable not only for your sparkling personality but for the fragrance you bring.

The signature scents have something for everyone, from light floral fragrances to heavier muskier tones.

It All Started in Paris
Lola Karimova-Tillyaeva’s entrepreneurial dream of harnessing the natural elements of metal, fire, earth, water, and wood to create luxury perfumes first became a reality in 2016 when the first Harmonist boutique opened in Paris. Since then, the brand has become stronger and opened a second boutique in Los Angeles shortly afterward.

Lola Karimova-Tillyaeva’s passion for scents began when she was a child. She used the ingredients which surrounded her at this time, namely, musk, jasmine, and ylang-ylang flowers. Later in her spare time, she began to experiment with these ingredients to make her own scents. After receiving great feedback from friends who were intrigued by the scents she made and wore, she decided it was time to start her own brand. The Harmonist was born.

The luxury brand represents a departure from her other work, which focuses on Uzbek culture and children. It is a labor of love for her and her husband, Timur Tillyaev. Yet, the brand’s uniqueness and underpinnings share the same values as Lola Karimova-Tillyaeva herself, unique, inspiring, engaging, and exotic.

If you haven’t already, it could be time to embrace The Harmonist.
