After renowned fashion brands such as Dior, Hermes, and Louboutin unveiled their very own make-up editions, it’s time for Valentino to rise to the occasion. The marquee is now set to introduce its much-touted debut line of cosmetics in August 2021.
The ensemble will include a line of color cosmetics, including lipstick and foundation, in multiple shades. It will also be accompanied by the launch of a new cosmetics clutch bag that is big enough to hold a lipstick and face powder.
Precisely, the beauty collection will comprise a range of about 50 lipsticks and 40 foundations for every skin tone, along with various sets of experimental eye products. The brand will also launch limited beauty drops to coincide with its runway shows.
Stating that the make-up line is conceived as a “couture” for the face, Creative director Pierpaolo Piccioli added, “Grace is something that you cannot describe; it is a perception. Beauty is something that gives me emotion. It is a connection. For make-up, my vision is Rosso Valentino 22, on a morphing of 16 people.”
Complete with bold, multi-functional, and individualistic editions, the Valentino Beauty make-up collection will be launched on May 31, 2021, at the Selfridges Department Store in London. It will be available for pre-order worldwide onward August 2021. Time to upgrade our make-up closets, maybe?
