Not in China or Dubai – But it is in New York where you will be soon able to take a glass elevator to the top of a 1401 feet high skyscraper and take selfies in transparent glass sky boxes.

Daring souls have another adventure to look forward to this season! Summit One Vanderbilt, the world’s most immersive cultural experience, and the observatory are all set to launch in October this year, and it is calling guests to pre-book experiences starting now!

The 1,401-foot-tall skyscraper will host guests up at least 1,000 feet in the air with only glass between them. As part of the experience, they will be able to reach the top of the building via an all-glass enclosed elevator called ‘Ascent’ that travels up the outside of the building to 1,210 feet.

Visitors will further get to enjoy panoramic views from “Levitation” – series of transparent glass sky-boxes that pop out of the building at 1,063 feet above Madison Avenue. They will also be able to visit an immersive art installation that will elevate the observation deck into a “transcendent and euphoric experience, sip on a drink at an outdoor bar and the highest urban outdoor “alpine meadow” in the world, and dine at an all-day cafe and multiple bars.

Commenting on the experiences, Marc Holliday, the chairman, and CEO of SL Green said, “We have created a destination that offers an interactive experience that will be remembered for a lifetime with the best, amplified views in all of New York City. Summit One Vanderbilt is awe-inspiring, magical, and needs to be experienced to be understood.” We quite agree!
