Don’t get your hopes high to get your bookings, it is not yet complete. It is an under-construction hotel expected to open sometime in 2011. The Strata Tower, a forty-story luxury residential building in Abu Dhabi’s answer to making an architectural statement, which has so far been the forte of its northerly neighbor, Dubai. Designed by New York-based architects Hani Rashid and Lise Anne Couture of Asymptote. Asymptote used state-of-the-art, advanced computer modeling tools to create the tower’s curvaceous and innovative design, including a cantilevered exoskeleton structure that allows generous amounts of light to bathe the building’s interiors.
At a height of 160 meters, the Strata Tower will dominate the skyline of the Al Dana precinct, and become the crown jewel of the upscale Al Raha Beach development by Aldar Properties PJSC.
