Beckham’s $43.4 million modern art collection rumored to go on public display

The Beckham duo, Victoria and David are known for their love for art and style. So it came as no surprise to hear that the couple, who has a keen eye for design, has secretly amassed a modern art collection worth a whopping £30million ($43.4million)! The vast collection is reportedly “love-themed” and is said to have been brought by the couple over a period of eight years. The collection includes works from artists such as Damien Hirst (bull’s heart enshrined in silver with scalpels exploding from it), Sam Taylor Wood, Tracey Emin (strip of neon lights spelled out to read ‘Forever Yours’), Banksy, and Jake and Dinos Chapman.

What is more, it is reported that these works that are currently behind the walls of the Beckham’s estates in London, Milan and LA, might even go on public display. Victoria is rumored to be in talk with a museum to showcase some of their pieces – all of which are love tokens, presents David or Victoria gave to each other for birthdays, Christmas and special anniversaries. Most of the works from the Beckham’s collection have been purchased from The White Cube gallery in London.
If the collection goes on display, it is sure to attract not just art connoisseurs but fans of both Victoria and David!
