Dubai ruler offers Victoria Beckham $40.3million to design fashion hotel

Victoria Beckham’s sense of style and fashion has won her many accolades. Well, the fashionista can add another feather to her stylish cap of accomplishments as she has just been offered a whopping £25m ($40.3million) to design a “fashion hotel” in Dubai. What is more, the ruler of Dubai, Sheik Mohammed bin Rashid al-Maktoum personally wrote to Posh Spice asking for her participation in this project. The Sheik sent Victoria the offer after she and husband David met the royal last summer while they were holidaying on the Gulf Coast. The hotel is touted to be located on Isla Moda, a fashion-themed isle off Dubai being developed with top designer Karl Lagerfeld. Posh has reportedly been asked to put her name to the hotel and help with everything from room design to the make of the wardrobes and furnishings. But Victoria has not yet given her go-ahead to this project, and she still seems to be contemplating the offer.

A spokeswoman for the style icon said: Victoria is always keen to look at ways of growing her business but for now her focus is New York fashion week next month. Does this mean a no? We can only wait and watch.
