Have a look at Katie Price’s $13,000 custom-made wheelchair decked with 6,000 Swarovski Crystals

Former glamour model Katie Price got herself in a bit of soup last month after she broke both of her ankles during a family getaway in Turkey. However, she’s now on the road to recovery with a pink custom-made wheelchair in tow that is bejeweled with 6,000 Swarovski Crystals. Yes, that’s right!

Katie’s elaborate new buy has been accessorized by the BiGDUG Company. The wheelchair is a product of 70 hours of labor and features dazzling, diamond-studded initials on the back as well as another ‘K’ inscribed panel on the seat. Its wheels consist of hand-applied gems on the rim with metal parts paints in neon. The plush mobility aid is said to cost anywhere around $13k.

Commenting on it, Polly Maclennan from BiGDUG added: “We absolutely love being able to help people, and Katie has been through something really traumatic…We are so happy we could help Katie out. We wish her a speedy recovery.” Katie is delighted much with her new purchase. She said, “Thanks to the team at BiGDUG for creating this bespoke, one-off wheelchair, just for me!”
The 42-year old celebrity has been informed by doctors that she may not be able to walk for three to six months and that complete recovery in her case can take up to 2 years. A luxe transport aid, in that case, is a great bet!
