Kylie Jenner trademarks her viral catchphrase ‘Riiise and Shiiine’

Kylie Jenner sure knows how to cash upon an opportunity! After a video of her singing the catchphrase- ‘Rise and Shine’ to daughter Stormi went viral, the internet has been rolling with several funny memes. However, little do they know that the jokes on them! In rising to the occasion and making the most of all the internet traction, Kylie has recently filed to trademark her now-famous words- ‘Rise and Shine’. Yes, that’s right!

In addition to the above, the 22-year-old will also get a trademark for the phrase – “riiise and shiiinnee” which she plans to use for a new clothing line. The ensemble will include belts, pants, coats, dresses, footwear, gloves, headbands, headwear, jackets, loungewear, scarves, sleepwear, socks, swimwear, undergarments and cosmetics, and is expected to have many takers- most coming from Kylie’s overflowing fanbase.

While our young diva has proven that no publicity is bad publicity, Twitter isn’t too pleased with her trademark stint. In response to the news, one distraught user commented – “Those “Rise and Shine” videos of Kylie Jenner were funny until she started doing too much by making sweatshirts and now trying to trademark it. Like why she can’t just let it be funny and leave it alone?”, while another added – “Kylie is really trying to trademark rise and shine …….. see what y ’all did”. Regardless- it looks like Kylie will be the one to have the last laugh after all!
