Sandra Bullock donates $1 million to the Red Cross to help Japan

It is sad to see Japan’s state today, but it is a resilient country that will bounce back soon. But they do need financial help, and all they can get will help them better. An image of beauty with grace and a big heart is the Oscar-winning actress Sandra Bullock. The American Red Cross received a hefty $1 million in donations to help out those in Japan, as per the Daily News reports.

The largest known contribution to date made towards relief for the tragedy is not the first time 46-year old beauty has contributed huge amounts to a crisis. She donated $1 million to Doctors without Borders for the earthquake victims in Haiti and an undisclosed amount for a public school in New Orleans, which went down to the Hurricane Katrina in 2005.
