Tiger Woods paid $2.9 million to keep the secret of his love child

There seems to be no end to Tiger Woods woes. The media has a field day speculating and reporting on the various stories related to the golfer’s affair scandal. And a TV documentary set to air this week is sure to set more tongues wagging as it reportedly claims that the ace golfer fathered a love child. The documentary goes on to state that Woods hid the details of the supposed love child with the help of a journalist. The documentary, Tiger Woods: The Rise and Fall, directed by journalist Jacques Peretti will air on Channel 4 on Thursday. Neal Boulton, one of the many interviewed for the documentary, said he knows someone who has evidence of the child’s existence, including DNA. The Sun reports that Woods paid Theresa Rogers £2 million ($2.9 million) to buy her silence after giving birth to a girl in 2003.

Speculations have been rife about a secret love child ever since Woods’s numerous love affairs became public. Woods, who has two children with his estranged wife Elin Nordegren, is caught in one thick soup.
