After accomplishing global presence, the jewellery line is all set to open an in-house museum in Jaipur.
One of the best-known jewellery houses in India, Jaipur-based Amrapali has made over 2,000 exquisite pieces and now have decided to honour the brand with a permanent museum, acquiring 1,500 sq ft of space in Jaipur to house the vast collection. Amrapali’s founders Rajiv Arora and Rajesh Ajmera started the opulent brand with handcrafted wooden boxes. With beautiful traditional jewellery from Odisha, Gujarat, Rajasthan and other states, Amrapali Jewellers have created amazing pieces that represents jewelled art. They used elements of Ethnic Indians Jewellery in their designs and revived the traditional methods to incorporate in their pieces, creating a design language distinct to Amrapali.
Each one is a handcrafted one-of-a-kind piece destined to be treasured.The museum will house such pieces in form of exquisite perfume rings and enamelled ear covers to mathapattis and cuff bracelets. Amrapali will showcased some of its finest vintage pieces together with an exquisite collection inspired by the lotus motif, which is incorporated into the Amrapali logo.
The idea of housing these one-of-a kind treasures in a museum is to appeal anyone who was interested — art lovers, jewellery lovers, tourists, history students, design students.
