Pallavi Jaikishan unveils a Jewellery line at IBFW 2013

Veteran designer Pallavi Jaikishan is renowned for her signature Bridal ensembles that enhances old world charm, elegance and romance. At the India Bridal Week, Pallavi introduced a line of Jewellery that is a luxurious, exotic marriage of embroideries with stones, collected by her over the years from the occidental bazaars of the world, frequented during numerous travel trips.

The jewellery pieces were adorned by the models as they only added to the appeal of the bridal outfits and further beautified the whole show. Pallavi shares her opinion of her jewellery collection and says: “Each of these necklaces is one of the types! I have sourced the components from antique markets from all over the world and it has taken years to collect these components.” She introduced Czechoslovakian Filigree Broaches with multi colour stones, mounted on Brocade and embellished with stones, beads and French sequins embroidery. Pallavi’s jewellery pieces are ideal to make a style statement at destination weddings, across the world.

In addition to the necklaces, Jaikishan also showcased French jacquard, georgette and tulle saris, hand-painted with flowers, and embellished once more with her signature French sequin-work. There’s also a line of temple saris, worked over with star and moon motifs to contemporize them a bit, and tulle saris with ruffled edges.
