LVHM owned brands Berluti and Krug first collaborated back in 2015 over a shoe inspired by Joseph Krug- the founder of the Champagne house. This time, the brands have created the Wild Journey backpack, a Venezia Leather creation designed to carry a Champagne bottle and keep it cool. Previously, the brands used similar concepts to create their Long Journey and Short Journey bags.
Wild Journey comes in the signature dark red shade that the two brands always use in their collaboration projects. Inside, a thermal lining and a removable, insulated foam keeps the Champagne cold throughout the trip. Included along with the bag is a bottle of Krug Rosé Champagne, a chrome wine stopper, and two glasses from Riedel that are designed specifically for this champagne. It’s practically everything you need for a romantic picnic.
As you’ve probably guessed though, those freebies aren’t really freebies given that the bag sells for a whopping $6,500.
