Louis Vuitton this summer is in mood for some serious makeovers as it introduces the refreshed versions of some of its iconic styles. First it was the Damier Carbone Keepall Travel Bag, and new interpretation of Damier Canvas; the latest we hear is that the French fashion house revisited its classic archival design from the 1950s for the all-new Parnasséa Lockit line.
The new Lockit is a fusion of two precious leathers, a well-drawn grain and hand of Taurillon leather combined with the soft and velvety touch of the Veau Cachemire. The handbag is peppered with palladium signature on the front of the bag, that only connoisseurs will notice such as the engraved bottom studs from secular trunks and delicate saddle stitching. For its advertising campaign Louis Vuitton roped in Michelle Williams to reveal her and the bag’s true delicateness.
The bag comes with a removable and adjustable shoulder strap, shiny palladium brass hardware including a padlock, Veau Cachemire trimmings with contrasted edge-dyeing, zip closure.
Measuring a generous 19.3″ x 17.3″ x 7.5″, Lockit comes in chic subtle shades like Galet, Magnolia, Framboise and Quetsche. Available exclusively at Louis Vuitton stores for $4,050.
