Known the world over for its signature English style and iconic trench coats, British fashion, and luxury giant Burberry has launched its much-anticipated Spring/Summer campaign for 2014. The brand has made a departure from the big names – including Emma Watson, Cara Delevingne, and Sienna Miller- that have lately graced their campaigns by featuring fresh new faces like Leo Dobson of the band Childhood, Jean Campbell- a new face on the modeling circuit who is also the daughter of the Earl of Cawdor, musician and actor Jamie Campbell Bower of The Mortal Instruments movie, up-and-coming models Malaika Firth and Matilda Lowther as well as Neelam Johal who becomes the first model of Indian origin to be featured in Burberry campaign.
The campaign, shot by famed fashion photographer Mario Testino, evokes memories of a quintessentially English romance, with soft, pastel hues and the air of effortless sophistication brought by the all British cast of models. Inclusive of Burberry Prorsum, London, and Brit collections, this campaign highlights men’s and women’s outerwear options this season with soft and unstructured styles in gentle pastel colors. The campaign will enjoy a cross-platform promotion including outdoor and print advertising as well as promotion on digital platforms like Burberry online, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Google+, and Instagram. Burberry’s Spring/Summer 2014 Collection launches in stores worldwide and online on the 3rd of January 2014.
