Daft Punk collaborates with French company for limited edition skateboards

Everyone’s favorite electronic music act Daft Punk have left us salivating after their retro inspired skate decks. Created alongside French designers Hervet Manufacturier, the skateboards are handmade in France from molded beechwood and covered with Formica laminate on both sides. The top face of the board is laser engraved with a “grip effect” repeated logo pattern while the bottom is a 2 color inlayed logo. The blue and orange pop colors are bright and invigorating. The board does not come with trucks and wheels.

The board was created in two colorways with only 25 pieces of each produced! It is no wonder the boards are already sold out despite the $280 price tag. Fortunately, Daft Punk has a lot of other merchandise on offer. Check out their deliciously vintage range of t-shirts, posters, belt buckles, bags etc. at Daftpunk.com
Meanwhile we’ll be planning a prayer circle to encourage production of more skate decks!
