Daphne Guinness to exhibit her private haute couture wardrobe

We’ve got good news, and we’ve got some fabulous news. The good news is Daphne Guinness is opening her own personal collection of highly-coveted couture. Known worldwide for her outgoing style, this brewery heiress, the direct descendant of Arthur Guinness and permanent fashion industry fixture, has recently put her best fashion foot forward, and it’s going to be an event to look at forward to. Sounds fabulous? That news is yet to come! You can now own a piece of it through Christie’s auction later this June- on exhibition will be over 100 pieces from the style muse’s personal wardrobe, and the collection will range from classic style statements to avant-garde installations, a diversity where each piece is unique and harmonized by the element of fashion itself. Named after the very event, The Daphne Guinness Collection will be public from June 23-27, 2012, at Christie’s South Kensington saleroom, 85 Old Brompton Road, with the bidding war scheduled from June 27th. The proceeds? The sale at Christie’s proceed will go to The Isabella Blow Foundation, a charity set up in Isabella Blow’s memory, also’s whose entire collection she bought in 2011.

With a mission to continue Isabella’s work, which is to support new and emerging talent in the art and fashion vertical, The Isabella Blow Foundation will now be pioneered by Daphne: a portion of the funds generated by the Foundation will also be donated to selected charities.
