Designer duo Dolce and Gabbana are lending their signature aesthetic to an exclusive capsule collection for luxury online retailer Net-a-Porter. The website makes high fashion designer clothing available to customers across the globe and is also well known for its e-magazine: The Edit. Dolce and Gabbana’s limited edition, 8 piece resort wear capsule collection will now afford the website a new and unique exclusivity factor.
The designers are celebrated for their retro-feminine designs, made all the more appealing through the use of extravagant floral prints and lace fabrics and the collection will certainly reflect that. “The collection is dedicated to summer, flowers and lace: three of our biggest passions,” said the designers, “We love spending summers on a boat in the Aeolian Islands in Sicily where the colors of the sea and the flowers are always vivid and full of different shades. These atmospheres are always great inspirations for us. Flowers are always present in our collections but the one especially designed for Net-a-Porter are even more special because they are printed on a very limited edition of pieces.”
The collection includes a dresses as well as smart separates with prices starting at around $650. It will be available from Friday but is expected to sell out quickly, so keep your credit card close!
