Luxury brands Ermenegildo Zegna and Maserati have joined hands once again to launch a special capsule collection of fine leatherwear and accessories honoring the release of the new Ermenegildo Zegna trim package available on all Maserati Ghibli and Quattroporte models.The announcement comes shortly after the Maserati Quattroporte-Ermenegildo Zegna Limited Edition launch, with Zegna-designed interiors where their craftsmen have used pure silk fabric with an extremely high visual impact for the cockpit and seats. The automotive-grade fabric in new, warm and classical Moka colours – a modern Testa di Moro dark brown and Greige, a delicate fusion of light grey and sabbia was inspired by the fabrics of the Zegna menswear collections.
The new capsule collection will be available in key Ermenegildo Zegna global stores, starting from October 2015 and includes bi-material outerwear in leather and technical silk, special-edition sneakers, scarves in 100 per cent anthracite silk, fine leather goods and exclusive foldable sunglasses.
A unique leather bomber-style blouson with its raglan sleeves in pure silk herringbone structure and body in high-quality nappa plongee, premium sneakers in hand-buffed calf leather and Lanificio Zegna’s Maserati fabric, an elegant holdall in smooth French calfskin with embossed Maserati trident and Ermenegildo Zegna exclusive for Maserati fabric lining, the calf leather travel wallet with extractable handle and special passport and boarding pass pockets, the Maserati-logoed keycase and a rich assortment of products including a cotton and silk sweatshirt with coordinated sweatpants and a jersey polo are some of the items from the collection that puts rigorous attention to the smallest of details. Accessories including pure silk herringbone scarves, dark brown goat nappa driving gloves and foldable metal sunglasses with leather detailing complete the collection.
