The Anya Hindmarch Service Station Pop-Up at Selfridges has come to life and is bustling with some seriously fashionable goodies. Situated at the entrance to Selfridges’ third-floor carpark, shoppers can purchase the designers autumn/winter 2015 collection as well as a number of other quirky gifts but not before they’ve had a car wash and picture taken with some model mechanics in a car-wash photo booth!
The gift kiosk has some exclusive service station products, all created for Selfridges, and includes products like the Anya winkey car freshener, coffee cups, bumper stickers, nodding dogs, condoms and the customizable high-vis jackets. There is also refuel at the Little Chef pit stop. Hindmarch’s AW2015 collection feature the unmistakable insignia of British motorway signage, and include some must-have pieces like the ‘Men At Work’ Ebury tote -emblazoned with a road sign on butter-soft leather available for about $2,300.
“I wanted to take the creativity of the LFW show directly to our customers in a fun and unexpected way,” said Hindmarch. “Doing a pop-up in the Selfridges car park felt so right given the autumn/winter 2015 collection was inspired by many hours driving on the M25! I always think fashion should make you smile so was keen to create a pop-up that was creative and stylish but also offered fun experiences for people.”
