Brace yourselves drama favoring men and ladies! The results of the H&M-Alexander Wang collaboration are finally out for all to see! And we like what we’re seeing. Heeled boots, pea coats, reflective leggings and boxing gloves, most of them in Wang’s usual bold, sporty avatar are a real mass-produced treat.
Black, “WANG” and water-resistant, the clothes have an underlying layer of glam, the kind that is contemporary and athletic at the same time. Meant “to be worn on the street, in the gym, at the club”, they were launched in a runway show at the Armory on the Hudson in New York. A total of 38 pieces for women, 23 for men, include hoodies, sporty knit leggings and performance shorts.
And accessories like scuba gloves, a leather backpack, a yoga mat, and sunglasses with an oversized head strap! The collection will be in stores and online starting November 6 and when it is, we say snag those women’s drawstring black leather pants ($349) and heeled boots with zippers ($299), and the pea coats and slipper-like sneakers for men ($199 each).
