Justin Bieber may not have been in the front row at Dolce and Gabbana’s Fall 2017 show at Milan Fashion Week, but he was certainly a big part of the proceedings. The Italian designer duo’s collection featured a number of t-shirts that featured the “Baby” singer’s face splashed across the front with captions like “King”. The tour merchandise inspired t-shirts were styled with lace skirts and graffiti print leggings.
If Dolce and Gabbana are courting deep pocketed Beliebers, then this is not a subtle way of doing it. But only time will tell whether the move was a lucrative one or not. In all honesty, we’re not sure what exactly is going on here. Is the brand trying to capitalize on the teen heartthrob’s popularity? Or has Justin himself become a fashion icon?
You won’t catch us sporting these fannish tees, but we’ll keep our eyes peeled to see if a celebrity or two decide to don Bieber’s famous (and apparently fashionable) face.
