The veteran designer’s 50 year tenure as Creative Director at Fendi is the longest collaboration ever between a designer and a luxury fashion house. To commemorate this Golden anniversary, Steidl published a beautiful book entitled Fendi by Karl Lagerfeld, a formidable tome that compiles compilation of interviews, drawings, and recorded conversations with Lagerfeld through the last 50 years of his career.
The book is a must have for fans of Lagerfeld and Fendi. It’s packed with Karl’s many anecdotes and interviews and his best memories including his first visit to the Fendi atelier in Rome. His beautiful sketches and illustrations also feature in the book offering insight into the growth of both the brand and the designer though their legendary collaboration.
