In doing things right, Crocodile logo brand Lacoste has recently joined hands with The Everglades Foundation for an exciting philanthropic capsule collection. Complete with a custom offering of polos, T-shirts, and hats, the range will support the restoration and conservation of the Everglades, a World Heritage Site.
It is rightly christened as “Forevergreen by Lacoste” and features the use of a custom green color by the Pantone Color Institute. The signature hue is applied throughout the collection and pays homage to the rich, diverse, and bustling ecosystem of Everglades (which is home to over 2,000 unique species of plants and animals).
For the capsule, Lacoste has also designed a custom logo featuring the Everglades’ iconic crocodile. Commenting on the collection, Eric Eikenberg, CEO of The Everglades Foundation said, “We have enjoyed a long-standing partnership with Lacoste,” he further added, “This partnership to support our mission to restore and protect one of the most unique ecosystems in the world speaks to Lacoste’s lasting commitment to the environment.”
Part of the proceeds from the collection’s sale will go towards the Foundation’s mission to restore and protect the Everglades through science, advocacy, and education. Restoring the wetlands will also help to lessen the effects of climate change and protect Florida’s coastlines against rising sea levels, as reported by the foundation. Care to hello to the crocodile?
