French fashion house Lanvin has always prided itself on exclusivity and its niche audience. To mark the 85th Anniversary of its widely popular Arpège perfume, the brand has launched a lust-worthy minaudière case worth a whopping $3040! This much talked about holding case, which will be available in Lanvin boutiques and website from February 2013, is in the form of a polished, black enamel minaudière adorned with a braided snakelike gold handle, in which rests the iconic scent.
The perfume was created in 1927 by André Fraysse on a special request from Jeanne Lanvin to celebrate her daughter Marie-Blanche’s 30th birthday. The perfume boasts notes of rose, jasmine, and ylang-ylang, warmed with vanilla.
