Seems like Lexus has learnt a lesson or two from luxury car brands the likes of Mercedes, BMW and Bentley, and is soon following suit by introducing its own luxury lifestyle accessories line. Dubbed as “Intersect By Lexus,” this new retail experience would feature as an all-in-one shopping destination for high-quality, hand-crafted designer products. Most of the lifestyle items under the collection have been produced by brand companies that harmonize with Lexus’ philosophies. It has been reported that the luxury car brand has already scheduled the opening of its first Intersect By Lexus store for the end of this month, which has found abode in Aoyama District, Tokyo. Other stores are set to open in New York and Dubai eventually.
From what we gather from the product listings in the first store (Tokyo), it looks Lexus is offering wares that reflect its location. Some of the products available at Intersect By Lexus Tokyo include a $400 minimalist LED desk light, a hand-sewn $286 tablet cover, a $133 drip coffeemaker, and a cup set handmade from the ash of Japan’s Sakurajima volcano.
