Louis Vuitton may have shelved their Pallas Chain bag but the handbag sleuths over at Purseblog discovered that it was only because the company has a new and improved version of the design to offer. Like the Pallas shoulder bag, the Saint Placide is a chain-strap bag with a monogram canvas body and a cover flap in a contrasting leather.
Updates on the design include a more structured shape which allows for more room inside and a leather section on the chain-strap for more comfort. Four colors are available: black, cherry red, burgundy and tan brown. Pick the tan for maximum versatility or the red for a bold statement.
