Louis Vuitton and Adidas have collaborated for a limited edition trunk that houses 14 world cup footballs

French maison Louis Vuitton is celebrating their country’s victory at the Fifa World Cup by auctioning off a very special trunk for charity. The company collaborated with Adidas to create a special edition trunk that holds re-editions of the 14 official match balls designed by Adidas for World Cup tournaments since 1970.

Included is a special football created by Louis Vuitton from natural cowhide leather that patinas with age to a beautiful, caramel brown. The trunk is a classic LV design with brass corners, monogrammed canvas and cream leather trimmings. The value of the entire kit was not disclosed but we’re sure it will be worth a pretty penny to collectors.

This exceptional trunk went under the hammer at the Naked Heart Foundation gala dinner on July 12 with the proceeds benefitting the Naked Heart Foundation charity.
