Inspiration lies in the mundane – Taking this statement a tad bit too seriously is Louis Vuitton. The marquee had previously launched the quirky paint can bag in equally quirky hues including purple, red, and orange. And now the arm candy is being re-introduced in fresh new colors.

Available in “Lagoon,” “Green” and “Yellow,” the accessory comes with a chrome LV-embossed metal handle and a ring top that flips open owing to the leather hinge. On the outside, it resembles a true-to-life paint can with the words “EXTERIOR PAINT” emblazoned on the front and center.

Other details include information about the paint’s quality under the handle and a warning its wearer to “Handle With Care” on its back. Further, the realistic notes are stamped inside the bag too in sync with its microfiber lining.

However, despite its humble inspiration, the arm candy doesn’t come in cheap. It is priced at a whopping $2350 for the purple one and $2850 for the other three. Surprisingly, just like last time, the bag has been selling like hot cakes and is already trading at a premium in the secondary market. As part of the same collection, Louis Vuitton has also introduced a single handle carrying bag that looks like a flower bouquet. It comes complete with the brand’s signature classic brown monogram canvas and artificial roses and flowers. Would you fancy buying either of these extraordinary bags?
