LV fans can now get a daily (or at least regular) dose of the marquee’s exclusive happenings and more! In playing a level up, the global fashion brand has recently announced the launch an all entertainment platform on YouTube. Called the LVTV, the online channel will provide viewers “an exclusive 360 view into the world of Louis Vuitton”, as noted in a press statement.
Sitting at a 333,000-subscriber base, the LVTV will mainly focus on five key topics: savoir-faire, institutional, friends of the house, travel and campaigns. The content will be made available for free with episodes such as – “Inside the Vault: A Brief History of the Monogram,” “The Art of Packing” with Karlie Kloss and “Getting Ready” videos featuring Emma Stone, Chloe Grace Moretz, Sophie Turner and other stars currently being in the pipeline for airing.
The latest LVTV video shows French fashion documentarian Loïc Prigent’s journey as he travels to Louis Vuitton’s shoemaking workshop near Venice, Italy. The insightful episode gives out cues about the traditional craftsmanship and technology used to make Louis Vuitton’s shoe collections while also showcasing several other aspects of the workshop. The project is part of YouTube’s recent efforts to upgrade its content and tap onto audiences looking to find engaging fashion material online.
