Louis Vuitton is going on a world tour and everyone is invited! The brand’s jet-setting creative director Nicholas Ghesquiere looked to his own travels for inspiration for a new handbag collection and delivered a series of iconic monogram bags that look like they’ve just returned from an extensive holiday! The World Tour collection updates the classic monogram bags with hotel stickers that add color and whimsy to the bags.
LV favorites like the Alma handbag, the Palm Springs backpack, the Neverfull tote and Speedy as well as travel ready bags like the Keepall and the Pégase Légère 55 get the travel inspired update. The collection also boasts a number of small leather goods like keychains, wallets featuring the cool new design detail.
In the Vuitton spirit of providing variety, the brand has also included a couple of non-monogram pieces like the Twist bag and wallet which feature the sticker adornments against a canvas of black leather. If you’re over bags altogether (not that it’s likely!) you can also choose the neat black World Tour shawl or the Fifty Five Monogram World Tour watches. Prices range from $290 for a keychain to $5,750 for the trunck inspired Petite Malle clutch purse.
