Louis Vuitton fall/winter 2010 collection of bags promises to woo the fashionistas

Fashionistas eagerly awaiting the release of Louis Vuitton’s Fall/Winter 2010 collection, here is a look at some of the pieces that will adorn all LV stores from this August/ September. As expected, the bags are glamorous and definitely do not lack the required luxe quotient. The Monogram canvas has been flocked and sequined, woven with metallic threads, guipure lace over duchess satin, Damier fox, soft and supple calfskin, and exotic skins like Ostrich, Crocodile, and Alligator. Some of the most exquisite and, of course, expensive offerings in the lineup include the Les Extraordinaires Alligator, which features bags crafted entirely of Alligator skin with golden brass hardware. Boasting a $27,300 price tag, the Les Extraordinaires Alligator will become the accessory of the women of the creamy layer of society.

The Les Extraordinaires Monogram Guipure bags are made from Monogram lace over dutchess satin with Alligator trim, flap, and handles and are priced at $12,800.
My personal favorite is the Les Extraordinaires Damier Virtuose. The bag features hand-painted Crocodile leather and sequins forming the Damier pattern. Again a pricey offering, this unique LV bag will set you back a cool $25,800.
For those who love fur, LV has the Les Extraordinaires Damier Clair-Obscur, which is an $11,200 fox fur-covered bag with the Damier pattern.
There are many other less priced bags like the $2250 calfskin bags, but it’s these pricey items that manage to steal the show.
