Men’s fashion just got interesting with newbie, handpicked Cadillac collection


Cadillac’s recent experiment when in walked into Men’s Fashion week as a sponsor marked it’s first ever excursion into the fashion world and it seems like they would like to continue the journey for much longer! Cadillac just announced its first ever, 15 piece Fall/Winter 2015 capsule collection. The designers of the collection are not Cadillac themselves, but a bunch of influential, rising designers belonging to the New York Men’s Day group. The NYMD as it is stylized is a pre-cursor to the official Men’s fashion week and serves as show casing group for all young great designers in the making. The designs for the capsule will be curated by style icon Nick Wooster and endorsed by Cadillac for their brand. Nick Wooster, being the well-known expert on Men’s fashion was called in for his expertise, to pick the crème de la crème for the collection. This being their first shot, we see how Cadillac wouldn’t want to mess this up!

The versatile collection includes pieces by David Hart, Ernest Alexander and Cadet along with Mark McNairy New Amsterdam, J. Lindeberg, Timo Weiland and Gents; and is a combination of casual yet top-notch stylish that can fit into any kind of lifestyle. The Cadillac capsule collection ranges from $59 to $2000 and will be available come September 9th onwards, exclusively on gilt.com. There will also be a NYC special kick-off, VIP-only, pre-debut shopping event for the 15 designs, beginning on 1st September, so keep your eyes peeled any kind of hint or further information!
