Monster Choupette Capsule Collection shows the wild side of Lagerfeld’s feline

Soon after her famous Shu Uemura campaign, Karl Largerfeld’s cat Choupette finds herself the muse for her owner’s accessories collection for the second time. Last year, it was her ears and whiskers that featured prominently in the range of bags, wallets and gloves while this year’s offerings boast an animated version of the capricious cat’s wild side. The fearsome feline caricature will appear on tote bags, wallets and pouches as well as scarves, ballet flats, t-shirts and sweatshirts in shades like cream, navy blue and white.

Crafted from Saddiano leather, we foresee a bright future for the leather goods in this collection, especially since the coming season will spotlight interesting and quirky accessories. We fully expect the wallets and pouches to be street style stars and we can easily see British fashion darling Cara Delevingne sporting the angry kitty sweatshirt.

With 19,000 Instagram followers and some 41,500 Twitter followers, we won’t be surprised if she ditches Karl altogether and starts her own fashion label next!
