Moschino unveils new collection inspired by popular 2000s video game – The Sims

If dressing up as your video game hero/diva was always on your to-do list, here’s Moschino giving you a chance to turn that dream into reality! In a sensational collaboration with well-known video game franchise – The Sims, the luxury fashion label is all set to introduce a brand-new collection that is wholly inspired by the Virtual Reality series.

As part of the collaboration, Moschino creates exclusive Sims inspired 2D fabric designs and combines them with over the top accentuations and loud colors – much like its signature offerings. The ready-to-wear capsule collection is dominated by pixelated prints of familiar silhouettes and includes t-shirts, tops, dresses, pants and skirts, as well as a range of swimwear items. There’s also a range of accessories such as smartphone cases, bags, an umbrella and jewelry, including a pair of plumbob earrings on offer. One can spot the use of playful motifs such as the Freezer Bunny and the game’s famous emerald Plumbob icon throughout the collection, making it one of the most sought after designs for fans of The Sims.

Commenting on the association, Moschino Creative Director Jeremy Scott said, “I love the idea of being able to imagine, design and bring to life a world of individual personas with The Sims universe.” He further added, “That concept emulates what I get to do for each collection at Moschino as I create a fantasy universe of spectacular storylines and characters.” The Moschino X The Sims collection will officially launch at Scott’s annual Palm Springs Desert Party with select pieces launching online and in Moschino boutiques on April 13.
