Oscar de la Renta was a ‘Gentleman of Fashion’, and had ‘life well played’. In tribute to this icon of fashion, a new fragrance from the fashion house of Oscar de la Renta has been unveiled, which comes out in September. The fragrance is a marriage of soft and hard scents. Top notes of grape fruit, champagne, bergamot and cardamom, blend with base notes of amber, labdanum, vetiver and leatherwood. And supporting this at the heart is a blend of Egyptian germanium and rosemary along with black oolong tea. It will be available in 50 and 100ml EDTs.
The packaging is Oscar de la Renta’s favourite game, away from the design sketches, a game of dominoes. Black dots and a line, in a white background. Made of class.
