Prada and Galeries Lafayette come together to create eclectic pop-up displays called ‘Hyper Leaves’

Pop-ups are fun, funky and fabulous! And proving every bit of it as true are Prada and Galeries Lafayette who recently joined hands for an exclusive project termed – ‘Hyper Leaves’. The collaboration entails two rather unique pop-up displays that are dedicated to the women’s and men’s SS20 collections and are eye-catching as expected.

Situated at Galeries Lafayette Paris Haussmann, the women’s pop up is designed as a ‘forest pavilion’ constructed with green painted metal mesh and startling neon lights on a green carpet floor whereas the men’s space features a giant baobab tree made from painted metal mesh and neon lights, decorations displaying three Prada triangle logos, big leaf cut-outs, and tables, an earthy-green backlit wall along with matching green flooring to match the theme.

Designed to merge reality and imagination into one space, the pop-ups further showcase a clever use of different natural landscapes and elements such as alocasia, monstera, fig, and fern in the design. The exhibits further incorporate contrasting lights and colors that bring out an eclectic charm is the overall décor.

The Prada pop-ups will remain open from January 14 to February 10, 2020, at Galeries Lafayette and will also feature two exclusive limited-edition styles of sneakers and boots (unveiled at the Prada Fall-Winter 2020 Menswear fashion show) for preview. Well, you wouldn’t want to miss out on this one!
