Rita Ora and Adidas Originals, who struck a deal last year and have been collaborating ever since, have released a preview of the upcoming ‘Super Pack’ collection for the Spring/Summer of 2015. This is the third collection designed by the British singer-model- actress. Though this collection, like her last, uses a lot of primary colors, its prints and designs are an edgy pop art with a whole lot of energy. Said to have been inspired by Roy Lichtenstein, this collection has a comic art theme that gives it a very retro-meets-modern look and is definitely on the opposite end of the spectrum when compared to the previous collection, which in retrospect would now seem a bit subtle. The range features jumpsuits, tracksuits, high-waisted spandex pants, crop tops, a couple of tees and of course, a range of matching sneakers. The designer has incorporated her free spirit into the classic ‘three stripes’ aesthetics very well, giving the sportswear brand a fun range to balance out the monotonous workouts.
Her red lips, which happen to be her signature look and an inspiration from singer Gwen Stefani, are featured in some of her designs and are her way of leaving her lasting mark on the collection, at least we seem to think so. The burst of colors against the white background definitely make it a bold collection, maybe even too bold for some, but with the right pairing fashion enthusiasts could definitely make it work.
The ‘Super Pack’ hits Adidas stores come 1st March. You could sign up on the Adidas website to get first-hand information about the launch and read more into this partnership.
