Chanel is making news in Singapore. For the first time since being there, the brand has partnered with a multi-brand retailer, Pedder on Scotts, to set up an airline-themed pop up at their store on Scotts Road, in Singapore. Things have fashion is going an altitude higher with this installation which is as chic and bold as the brand. Chanel’s creative director Karl Lagerfeld has created the Spring-Summer 2016 Ready-to-Wear and Accessories Collection, specially curated for Pedder on Scotts. This move is to highlight the new season and give fashion travellers a sneak into what to expect on the ramp this Spring/Summer. New luggage and leather goods are displayed on a conveyor belt, while mannequins look all pepped up as stewards and stewardesses in Chanel. Now, could that be the next leap? Airlines are anyway getting serious about redesigning their style. The pop-up runs until April 3.
