In the line-up of recent collabs, we have Stella McCartney and Disney, who have recently teamed up for a novel collection that is inspired by a legendary animated film from 1941. Yes, you guessed it right – it’s – Fantasia!
The unisex capsule ‘blends fashion and fantasy’ and features new Disney Fantasia prints, original graphics, and vibrant psychedelia. It boasts an eclectic use of ageless visuals and shared values of celebrating nature, music, and experimental creativity, thus providing a perfect escape from reality.
Comprising clothing, accessories, and kids-wear, the ensemble pays tribute to the film’s characters, with Mickey Mouse being a constant. Some of the best pieces include a colorful jumper and a silk maxi dress featuring a luxe scatter of the film’s posters.
Other pieces include a rainbow Mickey knit sweater, the Fantasia Mickey Falabella tiny crystal tote, light organic denim pants, pinstripe shirts, t-shirt dresses, and more. The collection has also made use of vegan materials, including organic cotton, recycled nylon, and recycled polyester.
