The acclaimed $100,000 Hermes Birkin bag set to fire for a photo shoot

And why would someone set one of the most sought-after handbags in the world, for which customers are often required to go on a very long waiting list, to fire? Because nothing stands a chance in front of passionate art, or so would we like to think. 18-year-old Francesca Eastwood, daughter of legendary actor Clint Eastwood and her photographer beau Tyler Shields set a blazing red, crocodile skin patent Hermes tote ablaze in a recent photoshoot, and it’s all about bringing forth the contrast between the existing parallels of the world! Set in an industrial background and given a dark, noir setting to watch out for was the vivid, bright, heated colors- one of our favorites being the bag on fire with Francesca fanning the flames with her red painted pot.

That’s not all the fire they bagged; the duo also finished off the shoot by hacking the bag in two with the iconic yellow chainsaw: oh, and this isn’t the first hi-fashion luxury product destroyed in Shield’s shoot! Anti luxe, is he? Or is it that he’s transcended? Whatever it is, his photos were surreal.
Shields states that he will donate the money he gets after selling the burnt and chain-sawed Hermes Birkin photos to a needy family.
